However, President Yoon, a party to the impeachment trial, said he was concerned about his personal safety due to attempts to arrest the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, and expressed his intention not to attend, so the first pleading trial is expected to end early today.

This is because if the party is absent from the formal pleading, the date will be rescheduled.

The next second pleading date is scheduled for the 16th, two days later.
