The People's Power continued to criticize the Democratic Party of Korea's announcement that it would file a complaint if it spread fake news about "incitement of civil war" through messengers and comments such as KakaoTalk as so-called "Kakao Temple" and "threat to the public."

Referring to Lee Jae-myung's remarks at the floor meeting asking if KakaoTalk is a sanctuary for fake news, Secretary-General Lee Yang-soo pointed out that it is nothing short of a declaration of war to inspect KakaoTalk used by many people.

He then pointed out that simply exchanging political expressions is fake news, pointing out that this is the logic that you should not make any political remarks through Kakao Talk messages and should not be delivered by anyone.

Park Hyung-soo, deputy floor leader, also urged the general public to stop threatening the public out of "the presidential impatience," saying that the attempt to take issue with the contents of the general public's Kakao Talk conversation and impose sanctions itself is an anti-democratic and dictatorial idea.
