Global Firepower, a military power assessment agency, recently released the "2025 Military Power Rankings," ranking North Korea's conventional military power 34th out of 145 countries, up two places from last year.
The North Korean ground forces' tanks, self-propelled artillery, and multiple rocket launch systems were highly regarded, and the number of fighters from the Air Force was also reflected in the score.
Korea remained in fifth place, the same as last year, with the United States considered the world's strongest, followed by Russia, China and India.
The ranking is based on conventional weapons and is an index of a country's ability to carry out war, which does not reflect its nuclear capabilities.
