YTN signed a program supply contract with TVing and will provide YTN production programs on VOD to TVing, starting with the digital original content 'What a Fly' on the 17th.
"What a Fly" is a YTN digital content that releases various information in an easy and fun talk format centered on international current affairs and has been constantly loved by viewers through its website and YouTube.
In addition, it will provide a variety of high-quality production programs and new programs scheduled to be produced through TVing, including 'North Korea Human Rights Report: Disposable Humans', 'Fact Tracking', a specialized exploration program, and 'War and People'.
YTN emphasized, "VOD service through TVing is part of YTN's new management strategy, 'Multi Synergy Strategy', which maximizes YTN's influence by actively entering new platforms such as OTT and FAST as well as legacy TVs such as cable and IPTV.
"YTN, which has already established itself as a representative channel for 'real-time popular live' contents through streaming services, is now expected to go one step further and expand its influence and accessibility by supplying high-quality programs," TVing said. "YTN's beneficial content will also help strengthen the position and influence of OTT TVing, which represents Korea."
YTN and Tving will continue to differentiate YTN contents and provide high-quality customized contents to more users through continuous VOD launches to meet OTT viewers' expectations for various interests and values.
