In line with the abolition of the Terminal Distribution Act, the Korea Communications Commission will reorganize subordinate laws so that the public can feel the benefits of reducing communication costs.

In the announcement of this year's work plan, the Korea Communications Commission said it will abolish regulatory notices such as standards for disclosure of subsidies and come up with types and standards for unfair subsidies discrimination.

He also stressed that the agency is coordinating with the FTC on regulatory authority conflicts, and that it is trying to ensure that telecommunications operators are not disadvantaged.

The KCC also plans to establish a comprehensive plan to protect AI users and enact related legislation so that the development of the artificial intelligence industry and user protection can be balanced in harmony.

It also added that it will prevent the distribution of illegal information by platform operators and strictly respond to the so-called "dark pattern" of user deception.Acting President Kim

said he would thoroughly prepare to minimize public inconvenience and hoped that the agency would normalize as soon as possible with the cooperation of the Constitutional Court and the National Assembly, which are undergoing an impeachment trial against Chairman Lee Jin-sook.
