Actors Do Kyung-soo and Won Jin-ah
explained why they participated in the movie 'Untold Secrets'.
The press preview of the movie "The Untold Secret" was held at Megabox COEX at 2 p.m. today (14th). Director Seo Yoo-min, who directed the film, as well as actors Do Kyung-soo, Won Jin-ah and Shin Young-eun attended the press conference immediately after the press preview to talk about the work.
The movie "The Untold Secret" contains a miraculous magical moment that begins when Yu-jun and Jung-ah run into each other in a campus practice room where the secret of time is hidden. In particular, he drew attention from the production stage by doing the original work of the same name in Taiwan, which is known as the essence of fantasy romance.
On the same day, director Seo Yoo-min said, "I liked the original work and was a fan. It was a movie that I loved enough to go to the filming location in Taiwan alone. He explained, "I was also afraid because he suggested directing, but just as there is a saying to share a lot of good things, I challenged myself with a desire to bring back good stories to Korea and give fun and emotion to the audience."
He then said, "Many people knew the ending of the original work, so I was worried a lot. Since there are some people who do not know the original work, the basic premise is that it is made for those who do not know. Even if you know it, I made an effort to put in a fun point," he said, conveying the directing process.
As for the difference from the original, "There is a flow of mind that Yoo-joon doubts Jung-ah, is disappointed, feels betrayed, declares separation, and suffers, realizing love and going back." Rather than waiting so weakly, Jeong-ah also runs bravely to find love and give up everything at all. I wanted to draw the original and the parts that don't come out in our movie," he added.
Do Kyung-soo, who is challenging a melodrama genre film for the first time through this film, said, "I chose the original because I loved it so much. I thought I could express it well with the present sensibility, which is different from the charm of the original work 20 years ago, so I worked hard with the intention of working hard," he said.
Likewise, Won Jin-ah, who is a fan of the original, said, "I had a lot of good memories of movies, so I was afraid. I wondered if it would be the right choice to challenge a work with a solid fan base, but I participated without hesitation because it was a big opportunity to play a role of being loved and loved." He then added, "Since the original work and the actor are different, the fun point of our work is that each personality and expression are different," raising expectations for the Korean version of "Untold Secrets."
The movie "The Untold Secret" is set to be released in theaters on the 28th.
