The High-ranking Civil Servants Crime Bureau said it has been granted access to the presidential residence by the 55 Guard Corps guarding the outskirts of the presidential residence for the execution of arrest warrants.

This afternoon (14th), the Airborne Division requested the 55th Guard Corps under the Capital Defense Command to enter the Airborne Division personnel, investigators from the National Investigation Headquarters, and investigators from the Ministry of National Defense Investigation Headquarters, and received a permission reply.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit sent an official letter to the security office with the same information, but did not receive an answer.

Previously, the 101·202 Guard Corps and the 55 Guard Corps of the military, which are in charge of internal and external security in the official residence, expressed their intention to cooperate with the execution of arrest warrants.

As a result, only 500 employees of the Presidential Security Service, led by Kim Sung-hoon, the acting chief of security, are expected to block the execution of arrest warrants.
