The Presidential Security Service said it will respond to illegal executions in accordance with relevant laws and regulations ahead of the second round of arrest warrants for President Yoon Suk Yeol by the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the police.

The security agency issued a statement saying that certain security zones, including the presidential residence, must be approved in advance by the person in charge to enter the security zone and national security facilities.

He stressed that it is illegal to force entry without prior approval, which is interpreted as suggesting the possibility of blocking the execution of the second warrant.

However, he added that he had sufficient consultations with the police and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to prevent physical conflict in any case when executing the warrant.
