Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit 55 sent an official letter saying additional access approval is required.

The explanation that the high-ranking government official's crime investigation office was granted access to the official residence by the 55 Guard Corps guarding the outskirts of the presidential residence is partly different from the truth.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit received an official letter from the 55th Guard Corps at 2:25 p.m. on the 14th that it would allow access to the area subject to arrest warrants, and later received an official letter at 4:24 p.m. that the security agency needed additional approval.

He then added that the 55th Guard's official permission to enter is valid, but additional approval from the security service is needed.

Earlier, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said it had been granted access to the official residence for the execution of the warrant by the 55th Guard, but Yoon Suk Yeol's president said that the guards had not allowed access.
