Kwon Sung-dong, the floor leader of the People's Power Party, urged Yoon Suk Yeol's president to stop the execution immediately to the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the police who are attempting to execute the second arrest warrant. Before attending an emergency leadership meeting at the National Assembly, floor leader
met with reporters and said that physical clashes between the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, police and security agencies, as well as huge physical fights between supporters of the president and the police.

He added that showing the process of great anxiety, concern, and confrontation with the people does not fit the national prestige of the Republic of Korea and is not polite to the incumbent president, and that the people do not understand why the president insists on executing the arrest warrant even though he rather asked for a preliminary arrest warrant.

He added that the warrant itself is illegal and invalid because the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit does not have the right to investigate rebellion, and that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit's attitude of insisting on enforcement through legal disputes makes it impossible to know whether it is an institution for the people or an institution only to build one's self-esteem.
