The pig shed in Cheongan-myeon, Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, caught fire at around 3 a.m. today (15th) and was extinguished in about an hour.
There were no casualties, but 300 pigs died and both livestock buildings were burned, causing property damage estimated by the fire department of 160 million won.
Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
