Lee Sang-deok, head of the Overseas Koreans Agency, delivered a message of consolation to the Korean Association of Los Angeles, California, as the forest fire that hit the Los Angeles area is struggling to extinguish.

In a phone call with Robert An, the president of the Korean Association in Los Angeles, Lee expressed concerns about forest fire damage and encouraged the Korean Association of Los Angeles, which is actively engaged in relief activities.

In addition, if the Korean community in LA requests necessary relief goods through overseas missions, it will actively consider supporting them to the extent possible.

The Korean Association of Los Angeles delivered 100,000 masks and other relief supplies to the community, and it is reported that other Korean communities are also sending sponsored items.
