The National Weather Service has issued a red alert for particularly dangerous conditions, forecasting strong winds for three days in parts of LA and Ventura counties.
In particular, winds are expected to reach 113 kilometers per hour when there are average northeast winds of 48 to 65 kilometers per hour and gusts in nearly half of L.A. County.
The weather service has indicated on the map areas that are in particular dangerous conditions and warned against anything that could spark sparks along with preparations to evacuate at any time.
Authorities stressed that frequent "Santa Ana" gusts in L.A. can send embers up to kilometers away, so all residents should be on high alert for the rapid spread of existing wildfires or the possibility of new ones.
The U.S. Bureau of Meteorology also explained that humidity in the area remains very low, ranging from 8 to 15%, increasing the risk of fire.
Meteorologist Todd Hall said the extreme dry conditions combined with strong winds could lead to an explosive expansion of new fires, leading to extreme conditions that could spread embers as far as 5km away or cause fire column tornadoes.
Forecasters are concerned that winds will re-strong from this afternoon in the western Palisades bushfire area and the eastern Eton bushfire area, where the flames are currently spreading, which could pose a major risk overnight.
