President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was arrested on charges of leading a rebellion, was found to be exercising his right to remain silent in an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Office of a high-ranking government official.

An official from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit told reporters that President Yoon is refusing to make a statement in the morning investigation that began around 11 a.m. today (15th).

The morning investigation, which lasted about two and a half hours, was conducted by Lee Jae-seung, deputy prosecutor of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, and Lee Dae-hwan, senior prosecutor, said the investigation, which starts at 2:40 p.m., will take over.

He also added that the video recording was not carried out because President Yoon refused.

An official from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said there is no definitive decision on which court to request an arrest warrant for President Yoon, but it will be requested to the place where the arrest warrant was issued.The arrest warrant for President
