With cold weather continuing today (16th), it will rain or snow occasionally in central regions including Seoul and Honam.

This morning, Seoul's temperature will remain at minus 5 degrees Celsius and the wind chill will remain at minus 7 degrees Celsius, while the morning temperature will drop below minus 12 degrees Celsius in northeastern Gyeonggi Province, inland Gangwon Province, and northern Gyeongbuk Province, where the cold wave warning took effect.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that starting with the west coast of Chungnam and Honam, it will rain or snow in the metropolitan area, inland Gangwon Province, and Chungcheong area from time to time, and asked people to be careful of icy roads and thin ice on roads.
