While apartment prices in Seoul have been flat for three consecutive weeks, jeonse prices for apartments in Seoul, which fell for the first time in 86 weeks, were also flat.

According to the weekly apartment price trend for the second week of January released by the Korea Real Estate Agency, apartment prices in Seoul remained flat for three consecutive weeks.

In response, the Korea Real Estate Agency evaluated that while cases of new reports are found in reconstruction complexes, the purchase wait-and-see attitude continues and prices are being lowered in other complexes.

Apartment prices in the Seoul metropolitan area fell 0.03% and local apartment prices fell 0.04% across the country, with prices falling 0.05% as in the previous week.

Jeonse prices for apartments in Seoul, which turned downward for the first time in 86 weeks last week, remained flat.

Apartments across the country also fell 0.01%, with all apartment lease prices in the provincial and metropolitan areas falling 0.01%.
