The resolution calls for the government and law enforcement agencies to take stern action in accordance with relevant laws, warning of spreading false information, defamation and malicious accusations against victims and their bereaved families.
Separately, the National Assembly's special committee to find out the truth of the disaster and remedy the damage held its first meeting and began official activities.
The special committee plans to attend a joint memorial ceremony at Muan Airport the day after tomorrow (18th) and then ask the government on the 6th of next month.
