Nationwide apartment transactions fell nearly 20% in November last year.

In November last year, both the nationwide apartment transaction volume and transaction amount decreased by nearly 20% compared to the previous month.

Real Estate Planet, a commercial real estate company, analyzed the actual transaction price data of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in November last year, showing that the volume of apartments in 11 cities and provinces nationwide was 37, down 18.9% from the previous month.

During the same period, the transaction amount decreased by 18.7% to 13.2798 trillion won.

By region, Sejong City saw the biggest drop in transaction volume and transaction amount, with 239 transactions in November, down 33.8% from the previous month and down 34.7% to 118.3 billion won.

On the other hand, there were 3,230 officetel transactions in November last year, up 6.9% from the previous month.

Real Estate Planet interpreted the decline in apartment and housing transactions in November last year as reflecting worsening economic conditions at home and abroad and tightening lending regulations.
