In a regular briefing today, Ministry of National Defense spokesman Jeon Ha-kyu said, "I understand that we handled it like this at the request of investigators at the Joint Chiefs of Staff to approve access as the commander of the military facility protection zone on the 14th."

However, he explained that at that time, the head of the security guard verbally communicated several times that he needed final approval from the security service considering the specificity of the region, although he cooperated as the commander of the station, and later replied to the official letter with such information.

Regarding the claim that the seal was stamped and forged by coercion, Jeon added that it is necessary to confirm further whether the seal was stamped after confirming that the seal was "permitted to enter" without knowing the details of the coercion.
