The police said that the charges were written by the prosecution by adopting only the statements of the counterintelligence agent, and that they were different from the facts.

Earlier, the prosecution stated in Cho's indictment that the head of the National Police Agency's investigation planning department and the head of the counterintelligence agency's investigation coordination department spoke twice on the day of martial law, and in the process, a specific list of arrests was mentioned and even reported to Cho.
