Group ATEEZ leader Hong Joong is controversial with the rap lyrics of his new song, which seems to target Chairman Bang Si-hyuk of Hive.

The collaboration song "SMB" between Hong Joong and rapper Odetari, released on the 15th, included lyrics such as "I'm having fun because I don't have any," "Night money, Nompang," "I know what's going on. Hitman," "You have time to observe others. Watch out for the back of your head," "Du-du-du, bang," "Jealous life blind," and "Korak-Sunny who curses while mentioning his real name."

In particular, the expressions "hitman" and "bang" are reminiscent of Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's pen name "hitman bang," and other lyrics are receiving responses that remind people of the controversial Hive music industry report incident at last year's parliamentary audit. The document, which was in question at the time, caused a social impact by criticizing the appearance of idols.

In response, CEO Hive Lee Jae-sang apologized, saying, "We acknowledge all wrongs and feel responsible," and promised to prevent a recurrence.
