At around 11:20 a.m. today (16th), a worker in his 50s fell from the height of the 17th floor at an apartment construction site in Sinmun-dong, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.
Mr. A, who fell to a ground-high wire mesh, was taken to a hospital in cardiac arrest but died.
The police are investigating the details of the crash, believing that A lost his center of gravity due to strong winds.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor is investigating violations of the Serious Accident Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
