People who have been injured or lost their families in special disaster areas will be able to receive special cases such as extension of the tax payment deadline or suspension of seizure and sale.

The Ministry of Strategy and Finance revised the Enforcement Decree of the National Tax Collection Act to allow individuals or bereaved families who suffered damage in special disaster areas to receive cleaning support through the revision of the subsequent enforcement ordinance of the tax law in 2024.

The bereaved families who lost their families in the recent Jeju Air plane accident in Muan are also expected to be supported by the revised enforcement ordinance.

The existing enforcement decree stipulated that "individuals or corporate businesses with workplaces" can receive support for extending the tax payment deadline and delaying payment notices in places declared as special disaster areas, adding new heirs to private businesses and dead people who suffered injuries.

The family business inheritance deduction system will be further expanded with the aim of enhancing corporate competitiveness, and so-called "100-year-old stores" under the Small Business Act will also receive family business inheritance deductions in the future.

The Centennial Store will be designated by the Minister of SMEs and Startups in consideration of the differentiation of products and services and contribution to the local community among small business owners who have been in business for more than 30 years.
