Members of the People's Power Defense Committee will hold a press conference tomorrow (17th) on the suspicion that the 55th guard commander of the Army Capital Defense Command was forced to enter and exit the official residence in connection with the execution of the arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol.

The ruling party's defense committee members, including Sung Il-jong, chairman of the National Defense Commission, announced that they would reveal the truth identified through the 55 Guard Corps at a press conference at 9:40 a.m. tomorrow.

An official from the ruling party's National Defense Commission explained on the phone that the head of the 55-guard was called to bring the seal during the investigation, and the circumstances of the seal were found instead.

Earlier, Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency committee, also criticized that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit lied at the emergency committee meeting that it had been approved for cooperation with the 55th Guard Corps, and that it had committed a fraud to the public.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit announced on the 14th that it had received an official letter from the 55 guards guarding the outskirts of the residence ahead of the execution of the arrest warrant, but the Ministry of National Defense refuted that it was not true.

Later, President Yoon claimed that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the police falsely decorated the official letter of permission to enter and pressed the head of the 55th Guard to arbitrarily stamp and obtain permission.
