About 30 members of the People's Power Party continued their condemnation by visiting the Gwacheon Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit building in connection with the arrest of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

They urged the immediate dissolution of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the resignation of Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit Director Oh Dong-woon, saying that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit has destroyed the judicial system, such as not going through due process in executing warrants.

Regarding this, Na Kyung-won claimed that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit illegally arrested the incumbent president as if it were a military operation, and Lee Chul-kyu said that all illegal activities so far should be nullified and investigated and tried in accordance with due process.

The lawmakers also mentioned the need for action regarding the suspicion that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit pressured the head of the 55th Guard to receive an official letter of permission to enter the official residence during the execution of the arrest warrant.

Rep. Cho Bae-sook said she would form a related special committee at the party level, stressing that she would hold him accountable until the end through a fact-finding investigation.
