Park Ji-won of the Democratic Party of Korea appeared on KBS to persuade him to appoint three constitutional judges while negotiating with acting president Choi Sang-mok, but Choi said he had never asked Park for advice.

Acting President Choi Sang-mok made the decision after listening to the suggestions of senior citizens and various expert groups on the appointment of constitutional judges, but Park was not included among those who sought advice, a spokesman from the Ministry of Economy and Finance said.

Acting President Choi said he had no contact with Representative Park in any form before or after his inauguration as acting president.

Earlier today, Rep. Park Ji-won appeared on KBS 1 Radio Blitz and said he negotiated with Acting President Choi Sang-mok from the beginning, and persuaded him to do two one-on-one without appointing all three, but he said he couldn't.
