Yongsan Police Station in Seoul said the man was stopped by police yesterday (15th) while trying to light his clothes with a lighter near the presidential residence at around 6 a.m.

A police official explained that the man was found to have come to Seoul from Daejeon to attend the rally, and that he checked for flammable substances in the vehicle he rode, but he couldn't find them, so he sent him home.
Earlier, A set himself on fire on the lawn next to the civil parking lot of the Gwacheon Government Complex at around 8 p.m. yesterday (15th), and was taken to a hospital with third-degree burns on his whole body, but he is known to be in a critical condition.
