Last night (16th), at around 9:10 p.m., a van passing through Deokrye-ri, Gwangyang-si, Jeollanam-do, hit a street tree and flipped over.
The accident vehicle was identified as an academy van, and a total of 11 people, including the driver and a high school student in the vehicle, were injured and taken to the hospital.
It was found that the driver was not drunk at the time.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on the driver's statement that the brakes were not working well.
