Blinken "confident that Israel-Hamas ceasefire will be implemented on the 19th"

U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken said he is confident a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas and negotiations for the release of hostages will take place on the 19th.

Blinken said at a press conference on the 16th local time that he is currently wrapping up the outstanding part.

Minister Blinken said it was not surprising that there were outstanding parts during the tough negotiations and explained that he was confident of progress in talks with Qatar and others earlier today.

U.S. Internet media Axios, citing a U.S. government official, reported that the remaining issues in the negotiations between Israel and Hamas have been resolved.
