Two days after the execution of Yoon Suk Yeol's arrest warrant, North Korea reported the news to the people, citing foreign media as the first arrest of a sitting president.

The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, reported today that the international community is highlighting the situation in South Korea in political turmoil as an emergency report on the arrest of a sitting president and being sent to investigative authorities for the first time ever.

President Yoon then cited what foreign media said was that he was justifying the crime with the logic of the Red Cross that he declared martial law, the president's legitimate authority, even after he was taken by the investigation authorities.

North Korea has drastically reduced its news coverage of South Korea since the martial law crisis and impeachment, and it is the first time in two weeks that related news has been published in the Rodong Sinmun since the 3rd.
