At around 7:20 a.m. this morning, an old man who was dragging a wheelbarrow containing the abolition of the roadway in Seryu-dong, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, was hit by a car coming from behind.
The victim, believed to be in her 60s or older, was taken to a hospital but died.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, is said to have told police that he caused the accident because he did not see the cart.
The police have booked A on charges of death under the Special Act on Handling of Traffic Accidents and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
