A Chinese man accused of murdering a colleague because he suspected he had stolen his wallet was sentenced to heavy punishment.

The Seoul Central District Court sentenced A, a Chinese woman in her 30s, to 20 years in prison today (17th), who was arrested and charged with murder.

The court explained that the crime is extremely heavy, saying that it is judged to be a planned murder considering the contents of A's text message and how he bought the tools used in the crime.

A is accused of stabbing and killing a woman in her 20s who worked as an entertainment receptionist at a karaoke room in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul in August last year.

Mr. A was close to the victim, but he thought he had stolen his wallet, so he bought a weapon and committed the crime.
