In a briefing today (17th), the high-ranking government official's crime investigation office said that preparations for an arrest warrant against President Yoon Suk Yeol are almost complete, and that it will submit it to the court by 9:05 p.m. tonight before the arrest deadline is over.

He also said that although it is not yet in a definitive stage, he usually requests an arrest warrant from the court that issued the arrest warrant, and that there is a high possibility that he will request the warrant to the Seoul Western District Court.

On whether to summon President Yoon again in the afternoon for refusing to comply with the investigation this morning, he said, "Considering the deadline for the arrest warrant, it would be practically difficult."

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit also asked the prosecution for a report of five suspects, including former martial law commander Park An-soo, special warfare commander Kwak Jong-geun, water defense commander Lee Jin-woo, counterintelligence commander Yeo In-hyeong and intelligence commander Moon Sang-ho, and received it yesterday.
