A 20-year-old who repeatedly assaulted his successor while serving in the military, was punished after being discharged from the military and left a criminal record.
On the 17th, Chief Judge Kim Taek-sung of the Chuncheon District Court sentenced A (23) to a fine of 2 million won on charges of assault, including soldiers performing their duties.
Mr. A was put on trial in February last year on charges of assaulting his successor, Mr. B, who was on alert at a military unit's combat control room in Cheorwon-gun.
