This weekend and holiday will be milder than usual, but the concentration of ultrafine dust will be slightly thicker, especially in the Midwest.

Starting this weekend, the cold air above the north will recede and the mild-tempered mobile high pressure will expand in the west, gradually increasing temperatures, the Korea Meteorological Administration said.

The morning temperature in Seoul will be between minus 4 and 0 degrees Celsius, similar to or higher than in previous years, and the daytime temperature will be 7 to 8 degrees Celsius, far above the previous year's level.

However, as the atmosphere stagnates and winds weaken, there will be places in the Midwest, such as Seoul, where domestic pollutants accumulate and the concentration of ultrafine dust rises to the "bad" level.
