"The power of the people is 39% and the Democratic Party is 36%..."A reversal within the margin of error" [Gallup]

A Gallup Korea poll also found that the public's power approval rating was ahead of the Democratic Party of Korea within the margin of error.

Gallup Korea surveyed 1,000 people aged 18 or older nationwide for three days from the 14th, and found that the public's support rate was 39% and that of the Democratic Party was 36%.

People's support for power rose 5%p from last week, close to 40% in the fifth week of February, the highest level last year, and five months after August last year, it was ahead of Democrats within the margin of error.

As a result of asking who is good as a future presidential sense, Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, was the highest at 31%.

Employment and Labor Minister Kim Moon-soo at 7%, Daegu Mayor Hong Joon Pyo at 6%, former People's Power Representative Han Dong-hoon at 6%, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon at 4%, Lee Joon-seok at 2%, former National Innovation Party leader Cho Kuk and Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon at 1%.

In the next presidential election, 40% said it is better for the ruling party candidate to be elected to maintain the current government, and 48% said it is better for the opposition candidate to be elected to change the government.

57% approve and 36% disapprove of the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol's president.

Compared to last week, approval decreased by 7 percentage points and opposition increased by 4 percentage points.

Gallup said this month that the two major parties have returned to the boiling point before the December 3 emergency martial law crisis, and explained that repeated messages from President Yoon and the ruling party to the existing supporters seem to have affected the popular support rate.
