A joint memorial service will be held today (18th) at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, 20 days after the Jeju Air plane disaster.

The memorial service will start with a memorial performance for Jindo Ssitgim Exorcism, followed by a memorial service and a video screening of condolences from bereaved families and government representatives.

After the joint memorial service, the bereaved families will travel to the runway at the airport where the disaster took place to mourn the victims.

1,200 people, including 700 bereaved families and government officials, will attend the joint memorial ceremony hosted by the bereaved families of the victims and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
