Kim Sung-hoon, deputy chief of the security service, who is accused of obstructing the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, was questioned by the police for 13 hours.

The police emergency martial law special investigation team conducted a 13-hour suspect investigation after executing an arrest warrant for Deputy Chief Kim, who attended the National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters yesterday (17th).

After completing the investigation at around 11:10 p.m. last night, Deputy Chief Kim was escorted to the Namdaemun Police Station detention center without responding to reporters asking about the investigation.

Earlier, Kim said before his appearance that he did not block the execution of the arrest warrant, but performed a legitimate security duty, and never instructed employees to use weapons or let them carry additional weapons.

He also said that he has never mobilized security officials in connection with the controversy over President Yoon's birthday party, and that he made a congratulatory song even on the birthday of a colleague or friend.
