The People's Power has repeatedly expressed concern that the revision of the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act, which passed the National Assembly plenary session led by the opposition party last night (17th), is likely to be abused as a tool for infinite investigation into the political opponents of Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung.

Senior spokesman Shin Dong-wook made the comment, saying that if the special prosecutor is able to investigate all cognitive cases under the Democratic Party bill, it will be a "special prosecutor rebellion" in itself.

He also urged Acting President Choi Sang-mok to exercise his right to demand reconsideration, saying that the Democratic Party of Korea pretended to negotiate with the ruling party and expressed its intention to conduct a second investigation into deep-rooted evils.
