Police have arrested 40 participants of the rally on charges of crossing the wall of the Seoul Western District Court, where President Yoon Suk Yeol's interrogation of suspects was held before his arrest, or damaging a vehicle of a high-ranking government official's crime investigation office.

The Mapo Police Station in Seoul is investigating 22 people who broke into the Seoul Western District Court yesterday (18th) on charges of breaking into the building.

In addition, 10 people who blocked and damaged vehicles carried by investigators from the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit returning from the court were also caught red-handed.

Eight people accused of assaulting police officers and reporters were also booked.

The police plan to take them into custody at Mapo Police Station and nearby police stations and investigate them.
