Before Yoon Suk Yeol's arrest, the interrogation of the suspect took 4 hours and 50 minutes, including a recess.

Compared to past cases such as former presidents, it is not a long time, but the longest record ever is more than 10 hours.

President Yoon Suk Yeol's interrogation of the suspect before his arrest began at 2 p.m. and ended at 6:50 p.m.

The interrogation was conducted for 4 hours and 50 minutes, including a 20-minute recess.

This is the first time that an incumbent president has been reviewed for an arrest warrant, and it is not a long time compared to previous cases of former presidents.

Former President Park Geun Hye was reviewed by the Seoul Central District Court for 8 hours and 40 minutes in 2017 due to the state affairs manipulation.

Former President Lee Myung Bak was sought an arrest warrant in 2018 on charges of bribery and slush funds, but the interrogation did not take place because he did not go to court. In the case of President

Yoon, the interrogation seems to have ended within five hours, as the facts and issues related to the alleged rebellion are not complicated.

Political and business figures were also questioned for a long time.

Back in 2020, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong underwent an eight-and-a-half-hour warrant review due to allegations of accounting fraud,
Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, was reviewed for 9 hours and 17 minutes in 2023 for the Baekhyun-dong development corruption and the Ssangbangwool remittance case.

The longest record ever is Seo Hoon, former head of the National Security Office, who was arrested in 2022 after 10 hours and 6 minutes of interrogation over the shooting of a West Sea official.
