The Seoul Administrative Court ruled against the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by publisher A against the National Labor Relations Commission, asking them to "cancel the judgment of unfair labor practices."
According to the enforcement ordinance of the union law, the court decided that even if there is only one union in one workplace, the request for negotiation should be announced.
Earlier, the A branch of the National Press Workers' Union demanded collective bargaining from the company in 2023, which the company did not announce.
In response, the media union filed a request for relief from unfair labor practices with the Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission based on the Enforcement Decree of the Trade Union Act, and the National Labor Relations Commission's retrial was the same.
