Kwon Young-se, the emergency committee chairman of the People's Power, said he will soon form a special committee on constitutional amendment at the party level to start discussing constitutional amendment.Speaking to reporters after the emergency committee meeting at the National Assembly, the chairman of the emergency committee,
, said, "Most of the presidents have had unfortunate events after their term in office because of problems with the current presidential system."

He then stressed that he believed that the system itself had a problem rather than an individual president's problem, and that he had argued that the presidential election should be held after revising such a system.

Unlike the chairman of the National Assembly, opposition lawmakers do not seem to be active, adding that efforts are needed to form public opinion on the political system and form of government in alliance with those who support constitutional amendment.
