Damyang Duck Farm in Jeollanam-do, highly pathogenic AI...a close inspection of the surrounding farm

The Central Disaster Management Headquarters for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza said yesterday (18th) that highly pathogenic Avian Influenza occurred at an edible duck farm in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do.

It is the 27th time since October last year that highly pathogenic avian influenza has occurred in poultry farms nationwide.

In order to prevent the spread, the Central Disease Control Headquarters decided to conduct detailed inspections at 14 poultry farms around the outbreak farm and inspect 216 duck farms in Jeollanam-do by the 24th.
