Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae convened an emergency meeting of Supreme Court Justices in connection with the disturbance at the Seoul Western District Court.

The Supreme Court's Office of Court Administration said Cho will convene an emergency meeting of Supreme Court justices at around 9:30 a.m. today (20th) to share the situation and gather wisdom on normalizing court functions and preventing recurrence.

In a post on the internal network, Court Administration Minister Cheon Dae-yup once again emphasized that the illegal rampage of protesters is a total denial of the basis of the rule of law and judicial power and a serious violation.

At the same time, he visited the National Police Agency and was promised to protect the building and the personal safety of judges, and explained that he would come up with psychological healing measures for members afterwards.
