Singer Park Jin-young's father has died.

Park Jin-young said on his SNS today (20th), "My father went to heaven a little before the last live broadcast of 'The Ddan Ddan Ddan Dda' on the 19th."

"My father has been battling dementia for a long time. My family was preparing their minds because they passed away after spending the past year almost unconscious, he said. "But when I see my late father, I feel like my heart is pounding to the floor."

"My best friend who called me dad, not dad until the end," he said. "My dad was really the best dad to me. Let's meet again and talk a lot," he said.

The funeral is carried out as a family funeral. In response, Park Jin-young said, "I would appreciate it if you could be with me with your heart."

In the meantime, Park Jin-young has confessed to his father's battle with dementia on various broadcast programs.

At the time, he appeared on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" last year and said, "My father no longer recognizes me. It's comforting to have many of the most important conversations when it's a conversation," he said, expressing his affection for his father.
