The Gyeonggi-type family care allowance is a welfare policy that provides care expenses to assistants such as relatives and social families (neighbors) within 4 villages who care for children aged 24 to 48 months.
If you provide care for more than 40 hours a month, you will pay 300,000 won per month for one child, 450,000 won per month for two children, and 600,000 won per month for three children.
Two or more care assistants are in charge of more than four children.
It was implemented in June last year and shared 50% of the project cost with cities and counties, and last year, 13 cities and counties provided 4,298 people (3,993 households).
This year, more than 5,000 people will be supported in 18 cities and counties, including Seongnam, Hwaseong, Anyang, Paju, Gwangju, Gwangmyeong, Hanam, Gunpo, Osan, Yangju, Guri, Anseong, Pocheon, Yangpyeong, Yeoju, Dongducheon, Gwacheon, and Gapyeong.
Applicant caregivers, such as parents, can apply at the Gyeonggi Civil Service 24 website (gg24.gg.go.kr ) after receiving a letter of attorney from the care assistant.
