Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, the government is cracking down on illegal activities such as fake oil sales to highway gas stations.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said it will crack down on illegal activities at more than 100 highway gas stations and encourage them to stabilize sales prices by the 24th.

It also added that it provides gas station price information by route and region through Opinet sites and apps so that cheap gas stations can be used on the way home with KNOC.

On the 23rd, we plan to hold an oil market inspection meeting with officials from major domestic refineries to examine oil price trends at home and abroad and ask the industry to participate in price stabilization.
