People's Power "Democrats, Police, and Airborne Administration Encouraged to provide a clue"
Strong supporters who protested the arrest of President Yoon Suk Yeol condemned the disturbance caused by the Seoul Western District Court, saying it was a behavior that denied democracy and the rule of law.
However, the Democratic Party of Korea pointed out that President Yoon and the ruling party are largely responsible, while the police and opposition parties are not responsible for the cause of the incident.

Please tell us in detail the ruling and opposition parties' positions at the party's meeting this morning about the unprecedented attack on the Western District Court.

Yes, the ruling and opposition parties shared one voice over the attack on the Seoul Western District Court that violence cannot be justified.
However, there was a sharp disagreement between the cause and the subsequent measures.
First of all, Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency committee, said in a morning meeting of the emergency committee that he is well aware of why the people are angry, but pointed out that using violent methods weakens legitimacy and only adds to social chaos.
At the same time, he appealed for support, asking for help as the people's power will take the lead in asking for issues.
Chairman Kwon, however, questioned the equity, saying that the police, who were a gentle sheep in the protest of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, showed a tough attitude toward citizens, and that if it were the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, it would have been released earlier.
An official of People's Power asked back, "The Democratic Party has nothing to reflect on," in a phone call with YTN.
It is pointed out that encouraging the court and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to investigate and arrest President Yoon as soon as possible was the beginning of the incident.
At the same time, he repeatedly questioned the fairness of the investigation, mentioning the arrest of former lawmaker Cho Kuk and representative Lee Jae-myung.

What position did the Democratic Party take?

The Democratic Party of Korea also criticized the Western District Court's disturbance and urged an investigation into the forces behind it and the agitators.
Park Chan-dae, the floor leader, said, "It is a total denial of the national system and a challenge to the rule of law," urging all the people behind it and the agitating forces to punish them strictly.
At the same time, the power of the people also continued to deny the judiciary's judgment and drive it illegal, inciting supporters.
In particular, lawmaker Yoon Sang-hyun's offensive continued to say that those who crossed the wall will soon be disciplined.
Spokesperson Han Min-soo told reporters after the Supreme Council meeting that he will take Yoon's remarks seriously and submit a proposal to the National Assembly to expel him from his position within today.
At the same time, he pressured President Yoon to be expelled from the party immediately if he is not advocating rioting toward the power of the people.Regarding the arrest of President
Yoon, President Lee Jae-myung refuted the allegation of "dismissal", which is mentioned as being discarded, and President Yoon refuted that he could not be compared, saying that his sentencing was a suspect of "crime of rebellion", which is the death penalty.
Separately, the ruling party requested that Acting President Choi Sang-mok exercise his right to request reconsideration in the "third party recommendation" independent counsel law passed last week.
The
Democratic Party demanded that the acting president Choi accept the special prosecutor law and that the request for a permanent special prosecutor recommendation should also be completed.

A standing committee was also held today in connection with this, right?
[Reporter]
Yes, today, the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee, which is in charge of the prosecution, the court, and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, and the National Assembly Administration and Security Committee, which is in charge of the police, will ask questions on pending issues.
The ruling and opposition parties plan to check the damage caused by the disturbance and see if there were any problems with the police and others' response.
However, it seems that there will also be a battle over the arrest of President Yoon and the Special Prosecutor Act.
At the Judiciary Committee, which began just before 10 o'clock, Chun Dae-yup, the head of the court administration, reported the contents of the Supreme Court's meeting and voiced unusually strong criticism.
Chen said that if extreme acts that ignore the rule of law become commonplace, Korea cannot exist, and urged all constitutional workers to send a message that violence cannot succeed.
He also explained that there were signs of intentionally damaging only the room of the warrant judge at the time, but Cha Eun-kyung's room, which issued a warrant for President Yoon's arrest, was on the ninth floor, so he did not suffer any damage.
In particular, a report on the urgent situation at the time was released that court staff avoided intruders, activated firewalls on each floor and evacuated to rooftops and underground.
From 2 p.m., the executive committee will be held, and the dispute over responsibility over the court rampage is expected to intensify.
