The Ministry of Justice said there is no possibility of supporters storming into the Seoul Detention Center where President Yoon Suk Yeol is detained, and said it will respond strongly if it attempts to break in.

Shin Yong-hae, head of the Ministry of Justice's correctional headquarters, told the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee today (20th) that there is no possibility that Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon will enter the Seoul Detention Center and instigate him to bring out President Yoon.

He then stressed that even if he tried to cross the wall, he had to pass through several outer barbed wire fences, and that the Ministry of Justice and the police were thoroughly guarding the outside, and that if he tried to break in, he would be arrested immediately.

Regarding the security of President Yoon, Acting Justice Minister Kim Seok-woo explained that the security of the prison guards and the security of the bodyguards are not completely the same in purpose and function, and that they are negotiating to operate in harmony.

He also said that protecting the target does not mean that respect is maintained, adding that the incumbent president is obligated to protect him even if he refuses.
